IDK why my algorithm showed me this, but I’m not questioning it. Ruth Goodman is one of the greats in terms of living history interpretation. This is an hour-long doc on how medieval people decorated their homes (?) but is really a tour-de-force in which Ruth gets a monastery ready for a visit by an honored guest. Do not sleep on Ruth because she is ready to out entertain/host you in literally any time period. Could I make it in the Tudor period? No, I’d be dead before someone could say “antibiotics.” But, I will watch all of these because I just like seeing Ruth work and wondering what it must be like to be this accomplished.
