Alone (Netflix) I started watching the latest season of Alone this weekend, and it continues to floor me. For the uninitiated, this show tracks some survivalists who all sign up to be dropped in the middle of nowhere with limited possessions and no food or compass. The goal is to be the last one standing (alone, if you will), and the prize is 500k. I could never relate to reality show contestants less in their interests, and yet here I am still watching.
Going to Rosemary Clooney’s childhood home (now a museum) is one of my goals. Thank you to this TikToker for giving us a glimpse of the White Christmas room.
This is a great explainer of the “Tiffany problem” where a historical thing seems fake because it feels to modern from our present-day view (named for the reality that there were people in the medieval period named Tiffany which feels hard for us to believe today (Annelise the Archaeologist)
